Materials You’ll Need

Step 1: Create the Borax Solution
- In a mixing bowl, combine one teaspoon of borax powder with one cup of water.
- Stir the mixture until the borax powder is completely dissolved in the water.
- Set the borax solution aside for later.
Step 2: Create the Glue Mixture
- Squeeze one bottle of Elmer’s glue into a separate mixing bowl.
- Add a few drops of food coloring to the glue for a personalized touch.
Step 3: Combine the Ingredients
- Slowly pour the borax solution into the glue mixture while stirring continuously. The slime should start forming as you mix the two solutions together.
