Zinsser Cover Stain Classic Oil 100 Primer is a low VOC oil-based specialty primer designed for interior and exterior surfaces damaged by fire, water, and smoke. The formula combines excellent adhesion, flexibility, and stain blocking power for dependable performance on a variety of surfaces. It provides excellent enamel holdout, making it ideal for bare wood applications. Cover-Stain adheres to dense glossy surfaces without sanding or deglossing and helps create a smooth, sandable surface for topcoating. It effectively blocks stains from water, nicotine, smoke, graffiti, crayon, and rust while sealing all types of wood.
