Description
KILZ Mold and Mildew Primer is a water-based primer-sealer-stain blocker engineered for residential surfaces in high-humidity, moisture-intensive, and temperature-variable environments such as kitchens, bathrooms, powder rooms, and laundry rooms. Featuring an EPA-registered active ingredient, it creates a mold and mildew-resistant film that protects the primer coating from microbial growth while delivering excellent adhesion to both interior and exterior surfaces. The formula blocks medium to heavy stains including felt marker, grease, ink, pencil, tannin and water stains, providing a sound anchor for topcoat paints. Drying to touch in just 30 minutes with recoat capability in one hour, this low-odor, very low VOC formula simplifies application and cleanup with soap and water. Each quart covers 75-100 square feet depending on surface porosity, making it ideal for moisture-prone residential spaces requiring durable stain control and mold protection.
