Description
KILZ Mold and Mildew Primer is a water-based primer-sealer-stain blocker engineered for high-humidity, moisture-prone environments including kitchens, bathrooms, powder rooms, and laundry rooms. Featuring an EPA-registered active ingredient, it creates a protective film that resists mold and mildew growth on the primer surface, safeguarding both interior and exterior substrates. The formula delivers powerful stain-blocking performance against medium to heavy stains such as felt marker, grease, ink, pencil, tannin and water marks while providing excellent adhesion for topcoat paints. Its fast-drying, low-odor, very low VOC composition dries to touch in 30 minutes and allows recoating in just 1 hour, accelerating project timelines. Each gallon covers 300-400 square feet depending on surface porosity, and cleanup is straightforward with soap and water for efficient workflow management. Not recommended for floor applications.
