Valspar 1 Quart Medallion Plus Exterior Paint + Primer, Flat, Pastel Base
Description
Valspar Medallion Plus Exterior Paint + Primer is a premium acrylic latex coating engineered to deliver all-season durability and protection with a flexible finish that resists cracking and peeling. Built on 100% acrylic latex technology, this flat-finish formula combines exceptional hide and coverage with fade-resistant color retention for long-lasting performance on exterior surfaces. The proprietary Rain Ready technology sets this paint apart, drying in just 2 hours to guard freshly painted surfaces from runs, blisters and water marks when rain begins, accelerating project completion even in unpredictable weather. The ultra-flexible formulation adapts to substrate expansion and contraction, preventing common failure modes in demanding outdoor environments. Additionally, the finish provides mold- and mildew-resistant protection for cleaner, healthier exterior surfaces over time. Each quart is ideal for siding, trim, shutters, decks, fences and other exterior wood, metal or masonry applications requiring premium protection and esthetic appeal.

- Cleanup: Soap & Water
- Surface Prep: Remove surface contaminants with an appropriate cleaner, rinse thoroughly and allow to dry. Remove peeled or damaged paint. Sand glossy surfaces dull. Seal stains with the appropriate primer. Caulk around windows, doors and other openings after spot priming bare surfaces. Knots and some woods, such as redwood and cedar, contain a high amount of tannin, a colored wood extract. If applied to these unpainted woods, the first coat of paint may show some staining, but it will be trapped in the first coat. A second coat will uniform the appearance. If staining persists, spot prime severe areas with a stain-blocking primer.
