Description
Valspar Medallion Plus Exterior Paint + Primer is a premium 100% acrylic latex coating engineered to deliver all-season protection and enduring beauty on exterior surfaces. Featuring a flexible, ultra-durable formula, it resists cracking, peeling and fading to maintain color integrity through harsh weather conditions and temperature fluctuations. Rain Ready technology sets this coating apart by allowing painted surfaces to withstand rain exposure in just 2 hours, preventing runs, blisters and water marks that compromise appearance and protection. The built-in primer enhances adhesion and hide while delivering excellent coverage to minimize coat requirements. Available in satin finish with clear base for custom tinting, this 1-gallon formulation provides a mold- and mildew-resistant barrier ideal for siding, trim, shutters, decks and other exterior wood, metal and masonry substrates requiring long-lasting weather protection.

Specifications
- Surface Prep: Remove surface contaminants with an appropriate cleaner, rinse thoroughly and allow to dry. Remove peeled or damaged paint. Sand glossy surfaces dull. Seal stains with the appropriate primer. Caulk around windows, doors and other openings after spot priming bare surfaces. Knots and some woods, such as redwood and cedar, contain a high amount of tannin, a colored wood extract. If applied to these unpainted woods, the first coat of paint may show some staining, but it will be trapped in the first coat. A second coat will uniform the appearance. If staining persists, spot prime severe areas with a stain-blocking primer.
