Description
The Milwaukee Thunderbolt 1/4" Black Oxide Drill Bit is engineered for extreme durability and long life in demanding general-purpose drilling applications. Milwaukee designed the Thunderbolt line to solve the three most common causes of standard bit failure: side-load breakage, excessive heat buildup, and bit walking. The Thunderbolt addresses each with reinforced web geometry, a parabolic flute shape, and a self-starting split point tip. Both flat and curved surfaces are drillable with noticeably less effort than a standard bit demands. The reduced drilling resistance makes the Thunderbolt well suited for portable drill use, where accurate hole placement is essential. The bit spans 6.0 inches in overall length with a 4.0-inch flute and a 0.25-inch shank diameter.
