Using a wood door weighing between 50 and 80 kg (110 and 176 lb) is recommended to reduce noise resonance and improve ease of operation. IMPORTANT: When using a soft-close mechanism, the minimum door width is 900 mm (35-1/2") Preparation: Remove the frame moldings or install a piece of wood (not included) of the same thickness and length before setting the new hardware in place to ensure release of the door. Always make sure that the product is properly attached or installed using appropriate fixing materials.
