The Forney E7018 Stick Electrode (model 30705) is a 3/32-inch diameter, 5-pound package of low-hydrogen welding rods designed for welding mild steel. These electrodes are suitable for all-position welding, delivering a stable arc and smooth bead appearance. They are ideal for applications such as field erections, steel structures, frames, trailer hitches, and chassis. With a tensile strength of 84,000 PSI and an amperage range of 65-100, they are compatible with both DCEP (reverse) and AC polarity. The low hydrogen content reduces the risk of cracking and peeling, ensuring strong, durable welds.
