Description
The Milwaukee M12 FUEL 1/2" x 18" Bandfile (model 2482-20) is a cordless bandfile built for automotive, industrial, and metalworking professionals. A POWERSTATE brushless motor drives the belt, and with an M12 REDLITHIUM XC4.0 battery the bandfile removes up to 50 spot welds per charge. Two speed settings, 3,600 SFM on high and 1,800 SFM on low, let users match belt speed to the material and task. The variable speed trigger, lock-on button, and forward/reverse function give the operator fine control over the belt. The arm rotates a full 360 degrees without tools, so the belt can reach tight spaces and awkward angles. Belt changes are also tool-free, and a belt alignment adjustment keeps the belt tracking straight. The bandfile ships as a bare tool with two 60 grit 1/2" x 18" sanding belts, and the battery and charger are sold separately.
