Description
The Milwaukee Thunderbolt 1/2" Black Oxide Drill Bit is a jobber-length bit built for extreme durability and long life. Milwaukee engineered the Thunderbolt web with a thicker core than standard bits, giving greater resistance to side-load breakage under demanding conditions. The parabolic flute geometry clears chips from the hole fast, keeping the cutting path clean. A 135° split point starts on contact, so the bit won't walk across the workpiece, even on curved surfaces. Black oxide coating provides both lubricity and corrosion protection. The 3-flat Secure-Grip shank fits firmly in the drill chuck to reduce slipping. The bit drills through metal, wood, and PVC with less effort than conventional designs and is highly recommended for use with portable drills.
