Description
The Milwaukee M18 Random Orbit Sander (model 2648-20) is a 5 in. cordless sander that reaches up to 12,000 orbits per minute. A variable speed dial adjusts output between 7,000 and 12,000 OPM, so the user can match orbit speed to the application. The sander's motor is designed to remove more material per battery charge, and the tool runs for up to 35 minutes on an M18 REDLITHIUM 3.0 Ah battery pack. A quick-change hook-and-loop pad makes sandpaper swaps quick, and the orbit diameter measures 3/32 in. For dust control, the sander includes a dust canister with filter plus a universal hose adapter. The compact tool measures 10.50 x 4.92 x 5.74 in. and comes as a bare tool that works with the Milwaukee M18 system of more than 150 tools.
