Pecan Olive Dip Ingredients

  • 8 ounces cream cheese
  • 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 cup pecan pieces
  • 6-8 green or black olives, chopped (try using hot olives, if you like an extra kick)
  • 1 tablespoon olive juice

Pecan Olive Dip Recipe

1. Combine the cream cheese, garlic powder, olives, pecan pieces, and olive juice in a large mixing bowl. Mix the ingredients well, until the olives and pecan pieces are evenly distributed throughout the cream cheese.

2. Refrigerate the mixture for 2 hours.

3. To serve the dip, you can either place the mixture into a bowl or mold it into any fun shape you desire. And roll it in more crushed pecan pieces.

Serve the dip with crackers, pretzels, tortilla chips, pita chips, or vegetables.

Hot Pecan Olive Dip

For a yummy hot version to serve with dinner, spread the mixture in a small glass baking dish. Bake it for about 10-15 minutes at 350° F.

Top it with some fresh feta cheese and more chopped olives, diced tomatoes, and shredded spinach. Serve it with some toasted French bread slices as a side dish or appetizer.
