The Ethos Facility includes an on-site lab that tests different ingredients and formulations to help come up with new exciting ways to make pet food. Recently in 2017, the Canidae Farms initiative was brought to fruition with the introduction of a Canidae farm in Kansas. This is the first step in their long-term goal of only using ingredients that Canidae is actively involved in growing. It also will strengthen the environmental sustainability push Canidae is making by using no-till farming and forward thinking-technologies to control pests and weeds on their farm.

Canidae Pet Food Brands Found at Blain’s Farm & Fleet

Canidae produces three separate categories of Canidae Dog Food each containing different ingredients and formulations. All of these products can be found at Blain’s Farm & Fleet. The three product categories are: Canidae Grain Free PURE formulas, Canidae Under the Sun formulas, and Canidae All Life Stages formulas. All of these products use farm-fresh ingredients. The Grain Free PURE formula is made with 7-10 key ingredients containing whole foods and fresh meats to help dogs with sensitive stomachs. Whereas the Under the Sun formula is grain free and designed for the breed of dog indicated on a particular bag. If you happen to own multiple dogs that are different breeds do not worry. The Canidae All Life Stages formula is specifically designed for all dogs regardless of their breed or size.

Blain’s Farm & Fleet also carries a few select items out of the Canidae Cat Food product line. All of these items come from the Canidae Grain Free PURE line of cat food. These ingredients vary from those found in the Grain Free PURE line of dog food, but it’s also formulated with 7-10 key ingredients, containing fresh meats and whole foods, for cats with sensitive diets.
