SharkBite Max 1/2" Push-to-Connect Brass End Stop Fitting
Description
SharkBite Max push-to-connect fittings are the fastest way to connect PEX, copper, CPVC, or PE-RT pipe. A newly designed stainless steel collet retainer delivers additional strength and durability and provides a 400 PSI pressure rating. SharkBite Max fittings don't require a PEX tube liner, and a re-engineered body allows you to insert the pipe using less force and greater ease. No soldering, clamps, unions, glue, or special tools required. After inserting the pipe, stainless steel teeth bite down and grip the pipe tightly while a specially formulated O-ring compresses around the pipe to create a watertight seal. The fitting can be rotated after installation for quick adjustments, and removing the fitting is just as fast with a disconnect tool, allowing fittings and valves to be changed or reused.
