Description
The DEWALT 20V MAX* XR POWERPACK 4 Ah Battery (DCB2104) is built around tabless cell technology, which moves energy directly to the electrodes instead of routing it through intermediate tabs. That shorter path reduces heat buildup, so the pack holds up through sustained heavy-load work such as cutting, grinding, and demolition. The battery runs cooler and also removes the mandatory cool-down that traditional cylindrical packs need before they can go back on the charger, which shortens turnaround between charges. Compared with older cylindrical DEWALT batteries like the DCB240, the POWERPACK delivers 50% more power and a longer service life on the same 20V MAX platform.
