Description

Straight Link Coil Chain is an excellent general-purpose low-carbon steel welded utility chain that is easily identified by its longer link design. The chain is manufactured to NACM standards. Each link is proof tested twice and the break load is four times the Safe Working Load (design factor of 4:1). Straight link coil chain is recommended for applications that do not require high strength-to-weight ratios. It is typically used for tailgates, barrier guards, swing sets, hanging light fixtures, and animal chains. Chain is zinc-plated for a bright, attractive finish with moderate corrosion resistance. Do not use for overhead lifting. Never exceed the Safe Working Load (SWL).
