Description

This Interleaf Mounted Flap Wheel features abrasive non-woven pieces and coated aluminum oxide sanding flaps in an alternating fan-like design centered around a 1/4" shank. The combination of the sponge like nylon webbing and the abrasive flaps gives this abrasive dual action capability. The non woven abrasives provides flexibility and the ability to polish while the abrasive flaps can remove material. This mounted interleaf flap wheels attach easily to a die grinder or power drill and are ideal for jobs in harder to reach places or on contoured, irregular surfaces. These non-woven interleaf duplex wheels can be used on ferrous metals, non-ferrous metals, plastic, wood and fiberglass. Common applications include sanding inside of tubes or pipes, blending scratch patterns or parting lines, cleaning welds, edge deburring on extrusions, de-scaling heat treated aluminum, removing rust, and creating a satin finish polish on certain metals.
