The Basement Watchdog Big Combo is a preassembled, energy-efficient 1/2 HP AC sump pump merged with our best-selling Special CONNECT battery backup system. It’s the ideal DIY solution for replacing your current primary sump pump with more power and protection. You get a formidable AC pump AND a battery backup system featuring 24/7 monitoring and Wi-Fi capability with the optional WiFi Module. With a pair of pumps in your sump pit, continuous monitoring and remote notification capabilities allowing you to receive texts, emails and push notifications, you can be confident that your basement is protected. The system is so easy to install that you don’t have to be a plumber to hook it up. The 1/2 HP cast-iron primary pump is a durable powerhouse—pumping up to 73.3 gallons per minute at 0-foot lift (59 GPM at 10 feet). The battery-powered backup sump pump extracts 48 GPM at 0-foot lift (35.8 GPM at 10 feet). The backup sump pump can run intermittently for days on a single charge from the Basement Watchdog Maintenance Free AGM battery (BW27AGM). The WiFi-capable controller monitors the pump, power, and battery conditions 24/7. Plus, the controller exercises the pump weekly to make sure it stays healthy. A remote terminal provides easy connection to a security system or other dry-contact device. If you add in the Basement Watchdog CONNECT WiFi Module (sold separately) to your system and plug it into the handy USB port on the backup pump’s controller, you can receive texts, emails and push alerts for the ultimate peace of mind— whether you’re lounging on the couch watching the game or away from home.
