Description
The Wilmar Pro Brake Cylinder Hone is a dedicated tool for reconditioning drum brake cylinders during brake service. Cylinder walls develop rust, corrosion, and glazing over time, which can prevent seals from sitting flush and lead to brake fluid leaks or reduced stopping power. Honing the bore creates a clean, uniform surface that allows new seals to seat correctly. The W193C model covers cylinder bores from 1" to 2 3/4", fitting a wide variety of drum brake setups. A self-centering stone arrangement keeps the hone aligned inside the bore without manual positioning, while a flexible shaft bends to follow the cylinder bore during operation. Adjustable tension on the stones lets the user control stone pressure to suit different jobs.
