Wilmar 3/8" Disc Brake Piston Tool
Description
The Wilmar 3/8" Disc Brake Piston Tool is a purpose-built service tool for 4-wheel disc brake systems found on most popular import, Chrysler, Ford, and GM vehicles. The tool removes, installs, and rotates disc brake pistons using a standard 3/8" drive ratchet and extension. Calipers that use slotted pistons receive an additional function: the tool re-aligns each piston slot to face the back of the brake pad for proper pad positioning. The Wilmar piston tool (part number W80621) covers a broad range of domestic and import caliper designs, reducing the need for vehicle-specific brake service adapters. Brake pad replacement on 4-wheel disc brake vehicles frequently requires piston rotation, making a dedicated piston tool a practical companion to any standard socket set.
