Description
The Wilmar 2 Piece Valve Lapper Set provides the tools needed to lap engine valves flush against their seats for a proper seal. The set includes two lapping sticks sized to handle a range of valve diameters, from small to large. Each stick features a heavy-duty rubber suction cup that grips the valve head securely during the lapping process, allowing consistent rotational pressure. Hardwood handles offer a comfortable, firm grip that holds up through repeated use. Each handle rotates back and forth between the palms, working the compound across the valve face and seat for an even finish. Lapping compound, sold separately, is applied between the valve and seat to resurface both contact areas. Proper lapping improves valve-to-seat contact, helping restore compression and engine performance.
