K&N Fuel Filters Recall

K&N ENGINEERING, INC. (K&N), HAS DECIDED THAT A POTENTIAL PRODUCT QUALITY CONCERN THAT RELATES TO MOTOR VEHICLE PERFORMANCE EXISTS IN CERTAIN K&N 81-0300, 81-0301, AND SPECTRE SPE-2369, SPE-6932, & SPE-2358 FUEL FILTERS. K&N HAS INITIATED A VOLUNTARY RECALL COVERING THOSE FILTERS.
This recall applies only to K&N 81-0300, 81-0301, and SPECTRE SPE-2369, SPE-6932, & SPE-2358 fuel filters sold beginning July 1, 2025. No other K&N or SPECTRE fuel filter numbers are involved in this recall.
K&N has discovered that some O-Rings used in the fuel filter could deteriorate and allow debris to enter the vehicle's fuel system leading to vehicle performance issues. All K&N 81-0300, 81-0301, and SPECTRE SPE-2369, SPE-6932, & SPE-2358 fuel filters manufactured in or after July 1, 2025, may have this quality concern. Given the universal nature of these fuel filters, they could have been purchased for use on vehicles, all-terrain vehicles, personal watercraft, and light industrial equipment. Therefore, K&N has implemented an immediate STOP sale on these products and is actively taking steps to recall all reseller inventory in the marketplace. K&N is conducting a recall under which it is offering to refund any purchase of these products to the customer, including the cost of return shipping.
