Krud Kutter Metal Clean & Etch is a one-step formula that cleans and etches metal surfaces to prepare them for painting. It removes rust, oil, grease, and dirt while improving paint adhesion to help prevent peeling and chipping. The water-based, biodegradable, odorless formula can be safely used indoors or outdoors without harmful fumes. It is designed for use on iron, steel, aluminum, zinc, and galvanized metal surfaces. This cleaner also dissolves corrosion inhibitors on new galvanized metal, eliminating the need for abrasive blasting.
