Ferry Morse Tomato - Oregon Spring Organic

Description

Developed at Oregon State University, Oregon Spring Tomato produces incredibly early yields of 6 oz., 4 in., oval tomatoes that are almost seedless. Actually performs best in cool weather. They can go out in April if freezing can be prevented. Yields are high and flavor is great, nicely acidic.

Features

• Determinate plant which means it will stop growing when fruit sets on the top bud, it ripen all the crop at or near the same time (usually over a 2-week period) and then die
• Tomatoes require at least an in. of water per week
• Resistant to viruses
• To keep fruit clean and easier to pick, support with stakes or cages
• Small space gardens, this variety can be grown in a 24 in. or larger container
