<p>This limited warranty lasts five years from the date of the original purchase by the original purchaser. Keep your sales receipt in a safe place to prove the purchase date. Without a sales receipt, the manufacturing date will be used to determine whether a crossbow is still under warranty. If the serial number is removed from the crossbow, the warranty is void.</p><p> </p><p>What is covered:</p><p>Subject to the terms, conditions and limitations outlined below, Ravin® crossbows (excluding strings, cables, cable slides, sleeve bushings, bearings, cosmetic appearance, and component parts) are warranted to the original purchaser for a period of five years from the date of original purchase against defects in materials or workmanship that adversely affect the crossbow’s operation.</p><p> </p><p>Who is covered:</p><p>This Limited Warranty applies only to the original purchaser. It is not assignable or transferable to anyone else.</p><p> </p><p>How Long Coverage Lasts:</p><p>This limited warranty lasts five years from the date of the original purchase by the original purchaser. Those parts are subject to a variety of conditions in normal use and considered to be consumable parts. The string and cables must be replaced as designated in the instructions and safety manual.</p><p>This Limited Warranty shall not apply and shall be void if any of the following occur:</p><p> The crossbow has not been maintained properly as directed in the instructions and safety manual.</p><p> The instructions in the owner’s manual are not followed.</p><p> The crossbow or any other parts or accessories are damaged or modified from their original condition</p><p> Damage caused by abuse or neglect.</p><p> Damage caused through a dry-fire event.</p><p> Damage is caused by using arrows, nocks, bolts, fletching or broadheads not sold by Ravin Crossbows.</p><p> The crossbow is rented or loaned for use by others by a retailer, wholesaler, shooting range operator, or other commercial business organization, whether or not a fee is charged for its use</p><p> Any user has made an attempt to alter, dismantle or change the standard specification of the crossbow other than as stated in the instruction manual.</p><p> Failure or damage was caused by improper calibration or by abnormal use</p><p> The crossbow has not been maintained properly including annual inspection by a qualified crossbow dealer as directed in the instructions and safety manual.</p</p>
