Description
This soft shackle is made out of Ultra High Molecular Weight Polyethylene (UHMWP) rope. Extremely long chains of polyethylene molecules, when aligned in the same direction, are very efficient in carrying large loads. These tough, strong, and impact-resistant fibers are woven into a rope and made into a shackle that is very safe because it is exceptionally light, is very strong, has little stretch, is soft to the touch, and will dry quickly as the fibers do not absorb water. This soft shackle is an effective way to quickly hook to a vehicle without proper towing points.
