Description

Our Marketmore cucumber is 1 of our best slicing cucumbers. This variety produces heavy and early crops. Cucumbers are long and can be pickled for dills when fruits are young. Developed by Cornell University to be resistant to Downey Mildew diseases. Stays uniform under weather stress and produces well over entire season.

Features

  • Resistant to angular leaf spot, anthracnose (1 or 2), downy mildew, powdery mildew, scab and cucumber mosaic virus
  • All Ferry-Morse seeds are non-GMO and neonicotinoid-free
  • Plant cucumber seed only after all danger of frost is past and ground is warm, cucumbers need lots of sunshine and water, keep weeds to a minimum with a straw or leaf mulch
  • Full sun, sow 5 seeds over a hill 12 in. tall and 2 ft. across with well-drained soil, for smaller gardens, plant alongside fence or trellis
  • Plants are 2 in. tall, thin to 3-plants per hill, plant at 3-week intervals up to midsummer for fresh cucumbers all season, keep fruits picked
