Description

This variety was developed in the 1950s and has been a garden favorite ever since. Well known for their 3 lbs., well-netted, salmon-fleshed fruit. Sierra Gold has a very small seed cavity in this 6 in. Dia melon that makes it ideal for serving in halves. The sweet and juicy golden flesh is high in vitamins A, B and C. The plants are tolerant to powdery mildew.
