Description

Mortgage Lifter Heirloom tomato was developed in the early 1930's by Mr. Byles of Logan, West Virginia. He cross-bred the largest tomatoes he could find there and sold the resulting plants for one dollar each. He was able to pay off his mortgage in 6 years! Hence the name. This sweet-flavored tomato is a large and meaty, with few seeds. It ripens to a deep pink.
