Description

An Italian-type paste tomato. Viva Italia's fruit is a deep red, elongated oval shape with meaty flesh. High sugar and good acid content. Quite tasty for eating fresh and excellent when used for canning, freezing, paste, and salsa. A determinate hybrid variety. Garden Tip: This variety sets fruit better in hot weather than the standard roma. Do not prune determinate varieties for optimal fruit production.
