Double Sweet is an outstanding bicolor sweet corn renowned for being an excellent mid-season variety. The 8” ears are delicious. Corn is a warm season crop. Pollination is essential for success, so plant in a block of three rows with 12 to 24 plants. Water frequently by soaking the soil, at least 1" per week. Mulching helps to keep soil moist. Harvest when ears are completely filled out and a pierced kernel shows a milky liquid. Double Sweet Corn is a good source of thiamin, folic acid, niacin, and magnesium.
