Most beehives consist of two deep hive boxes where the queen lays her eggs, and a number of medium honey supers where the bees produce honey for the beekeeper to extract. This deep hive box from Harvest Lane Honey is painted, assembled, and includes 10 frames with wax coated foundation. If starting a new hive with a starter kit which already includes one deep hive box, you will add a second deep hive box approximately 30-45 days after installing your live bees.
