Every beehive needs to be supported with a bottom board. During warm weather, it's important to have airflow and ventilation in the hive to keep the bees from overheating. This screened bottom board from Harvest Lane Honey is perfect for the job. It features a full wire mesh screen and a removeable wooden solid board insert to adjust the flow of ventilation. Pull the board out slightly for a little ventilation or remove altogether for the most ventilation. This bottom board also features a large, sloped landing board at the front to allow more bees to easily land on as they are going and coming from the hive.
