The DEWALT 20V MAX* XR POWERSTACK 5Ah Battery 2-Pack (DCBP520-2) replaces traditional cylindrical cells with pouch cell technology, which carries lower internal resistance and delivers 50% more power than the standard DCB205 battery. At 1.5 lbs per battery and 5.12" x 3.35" x 2.56", this battery keeps weight down on overhead work and fits into tight framing without giving up output. A non-marring rubber overmold base absorbs jobsite impacts and protects finished surfaces when a pack is set down. The battery charges in roughly 90 minutes on a compatible charger, and every DEWALT 20V MAX tool and charger already in the truck accepts these batteries, so no other gear needs to change.
