Description

The Lodge 10.25" Wildlife Series Skillet brings a deer scene to a standard workhorse pan. Lodge has poured cast iron in South Pittsburg, Tennessee for over 125 years. The skillet follows the same recipe: raw iron and vegetable oil, fired with heat. Cast iron holds temperature well, so the surface stays hot when cold steaks or chicken thighs go in, and the browning keeps going. The skillet measures 10.88 inches across and stands 2 inches tall, with room for skillet cornbread. Cooks moving away from synthetic nonstick pans get a surface built only from iron and baked oil, and one that gets slicker the more meals it sees.

Features

  • Cast Deer Scene: Raised relief molded into the base, permanent and not a print
  • Pre-Seasoned With Vegetable Oil: Ready to cook out of the box, no prep needed
  • 500 °F Oven Rating: Sear on the stovetop, then finish the dish in the oven
  • Induction Compatible: Also works on gas, electric, glass-ceramic, grill, and campfire heat
  • Uncoated Cast Iron: Natural cooking surface has no synthetic nonstick layers to scratch off
  • Easy Care: Hand wash and dry it
  • rub with cooking oil after each use
