Instructions

  1. Setup. Select a level area on your campsite – clear of rocks, branches and other hard or sharp objects. Do not pitch you tent under trees. Enlist the help of at least one other person to assist you. You may want to lay out a tarp to keep condensation away from your tent.
  2. The Pitch. Layout and position the tent with the door facing the desired direction. Assemble the main, shock-corded tent poles by inserting one end of each pole onto the pins in the corners of the tent. Go to the opposite end of each pole and gradually apply pressure to the pole forming an arch. Insert the pole onto the appropriate pin. Stretch corners of tent until taught then hammer stakes in.
  3. Attaching the Rainfly. Assemble the remaining shock-corded pole. Drape the fly over the tent making sure the fly is properly positioned. Attach the pole to the fly using the velcro attachments and any webbing pockets. Hook clips on elastic loops at corners of fly onto the corresponding rings at all corners of the tent. Secure the rainfly with velcro hook and loop ties located on underside of fly.
