Instructions

  1. First review our Cleaning Vinyl Siding project to cover the basic guidelines to pressure washing.
  2. To reach the areas of your house that are higher than 12’, you’ll need to use a maximum-pressure spray pattern to propel the water that high.
  3. Start your spray at the top of the siding and work down from the soffit. Stand off to the side a bit to avoid getting soaked by deflected water.
  4. Here’s a thing to remember…when your spray pattern is narrow, it concentrates the power. As you spray lower down on your house and the impact point gets closer to you, back away from the house or change the spray pattern to reduce the cleaning power. You don’t want to damage the lights or accessories on your house.
