Hazard: An unlocked handle can pinch a consumer's fingers against the generator when the generator is moved, posing finger amputation and crushing hazards.
Remedy: Always use the locking pin when moving or lifting the unit. If you own a generator with a serial number in the affected range, contact Generac to obtain free guard that can be added to the unit to cover the pinch point.
