Yard Tuff's SE-40KDL Drum Tow Behind Spike Aerator also functions as a roller and helps you to maintain healthier soil. The wide, 36-inch working width covers more ground with each pass, while 78 durable steel spikes penetrate up to 2.5 inches into the soil to reduce compaction and promote proper aeration. Constructed from rugged, rust-resistant steel, this aerator is built to withstand repeated outdoor use and demanding lawn care tasks. The tow-behind design easily attaches to ATVs, UTVs, and lawn tractors with a pin-style hitch, with a 14 HP or larger tractor for best results. A 23-gallon internal water-fill bladder allows you to add weight up to 298 lbs. for deeper aeration, effective soil compacting, and improved seed-to-soil contact during overseeding. It doubles as a lawn roller, helping smooth and level uneven turf caused by frost heave, freeze-thaw cycles, and regular wear.
