Description
The Nesco 18 QT Electric Roaster Oven works as a second oven on the countertop, handling a whole turkey up to 22 pounds alongside pot roasts or multiple chickens. The 1450-watt heating base uses Circle of Heat technology, wrapping the element around the sides of the cookwell so heat surrounds the food instead of radiating up from the bottom. The extra-high dome lid self-bastes: steam and drippings condense inside the dome and fall back over the food. Temperature control runs from 200°F to 450°F, covering low-and-slow brisket through high-heat roasting. The removable porcelain enamel cookwell resists scratches and stains, while its chip-resistant surface lifts out with side handles for cleanup or buffet serving.
