Deeper Roots | Ryan Rouse & Sheryl Rosa, Nordskov Coffee

How do you take your coffee? Trevor and the Blain’s Farm & Fleet crew find out the right way at cozy, nostalgic Whitewater Lake in southeastern Wisconsin. They interviewed couple, Ryan Rouse and Sheryl Rosa, founders of Nordskov Coffee (along with their trusty dog, John Denver).

Having spent much of their lives and careers growing large companies in the big city, the duo made their return to their small town roots during the pandemic. That’s where Ryan’s passion project of roasting coffee beans in a thrift store popcorn machine on their lakeside cabin’s deck grew into the quaint coffee company the couple owns today.

As Ryan puts it, they’ve had the unique opportunity of applying the same business growth principles used in their vast experience with large corporations. They have been able to apply them to not only their own small business, but to their growing tribe of other small, local businesses as well.
