Blain’s Resumes Construction on New Monroe Store

We are excited to announce that construction will resume on the new Monroe store by the beginning of August. The project had recently been put on hold due to disruptions caused by COVID-19, including concerns of material and product shortages. As previously mentioned, the new store will be located on 405 W 8th Street in Monroe. It is expected to be completed by Spring of 2021.

The new Blain’s Farm & Fleet store in Monroe will have 20,000 additional square feet of space and more than double the parking spots of the current Monroe location. The 75,853 sq. foot store will also feature a best-in-class covered 2-lane Drive-Thru service and an updated state-of-the-art Automotive Service Center.

The current Monroe store will remain open as construction resumes. Blain’s Farm & Fleet is looking for interested parties to redevelop the current store site after relocation next spring. “It is our goal to strengthen the communities that we serve,” says Sara Iverson Smith, Director of Real Estate, Construction and Facilities. “So, we are focused on both building a best-in-class shopping experience in our new location and finding a good fit to fill our old location for the City of Monroe.
