Learn From the Pros In-Store Demos
Head to your local Blain’s Farm & Fleet store location on March 2nd and 3rd from 10am – 2pm to take part in the Learn From the Pros In-Store Demo Events. You have the opportunity to participate in three separate in-store events:
Learn about Raising Chickens
Visit the Ag Department at your local Blain’s Farm & Fleet store on March 2nd and 3rd from 10am – 2pm to learn more about how to raise your chickens. We will have experts on hand to go over what supplies you need and how to get started. Plus, we will have the following breeds of live chicks available for purchase at 37 of our 40 Blain’s Farm & Fleet store locations – Easter Egger, Barred Rock, Rhode Island Reds, Cinnamon Queens, Light Brahma, Buff Orpington, Cornish Crush, and the Black Australorp. Due to local restrictions Madison, Oak Creek, and Belvidere will not have chicks available for purchase. The number of chicks on hand will vary from store to store, and the chicks will be sold on a first come first serve basis. All attendees can enter to win a Petmate Chicken Coop! There will be one given away company-wide, and the winner will be announced at the end of the Learn From the Pros – Learn About Raising Chickens Event. Truck and Auto Care Tutorials
Sign up in-store on March 2nd and 3rd to attend an automotive maintenance tutorial with a pro. The tutorials will be taking place from 10am – 2pm, so be sure to sign up early in the day to reserve an appointment. The tutorial will cover 5 different topics all related to how to properly maintain your vehicle:
- Go through the customer’s vehicle information (sign up for a tutorial to learn more about your specific vehicle)
- Monthly Checklist Items
- Three Month Checklist Items
- Four Month Checklist Items
- Useful Items to Keep in Your Vehicle
Common automotive preventative maintenance tips that will be covered include:
- Changing a tire
- Checking tire tread depth/pressure
- Checking battery performance
- Checking fluid fill levels
- Checking windshield wiper wear
