When ingested by a dog, it causes a rapid release of insulin, resulting in hypoglycemia. This can lead to vomiting, lethargy and even seizures. It can also lead to liver failure.<\/p>\n

Garlic & Onions<\/strong>\u00a0– If your pet consumes onions, it can cause damage to their red blood cells. Garlic can cause gastrointestinal irritation and red blood cell damage, too.<\/p>\n

Raw Eggs & Raw Meat<\/strong> – Raw eggs can cause a decrease in the absorption of biotin, which can lead to problems with your pets’ skin and coat. There’s also the chance of E. coli or Salmonella poisoning from raw eggs or raw meat.<\/p>\n

Milk and Dairy Products<\/strong> – Dogs and cats don’t have the right amounts of enzymes to break down dairy products. They can cause digestive upset and diarrhea. When you want to share your ice cream with your dog, grab some dog treats<\/a> instead.<\/p>\n
