With help from Dremel and Blain&#8217;s Farm &amp; Fleet, you can create timeless holiday decorations in just a few easy steps. Let&#8217;s get crafting!<\/p>\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"step-1\">Step 1<\/h3>\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.farmandfleet.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/09\/Step-1-Dremel-300x200.jpg\" alt=\"Wooden Ornaments Step 1\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-left\">Start by tracing your desired pattern onto a sheet of 1\/4&#8243; or 1\/2&#8243; plywood. For our ornaments, we went with a simple star shape. This is your time to get creative with shapes. Maybe you want to make the first letter of everyone in your family&#8217;s name into an ornament. Or you can try traditional holiday shapes, like Christmas trees, snowmen and more. It all comes down to your ability to cut out the shape with the wood cutting wheel.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-left\">Once you have your shapes traced, clamp the plywood work piece to your table, and use the Ultra-Saw with the US500 Wood Cutting Wheel to cut them out.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"step-2\">Step 2<\/h3>\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"300\" height=\"200\" src=\"https:\/\/www.farmandfleet.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/09\/Step-2-Dremel-300x200.jpg\" alt=\"Step 2 Wooden Ornaments\" class=\"wp-image-8238\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Drill holes into the top of your ornaments so you can hang or string them. Using the&nbsp;<a href=\"\/products\/698857-dremel-1-8-glass-drilling-bit.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Dremel Drill Bit 150<\/a> in the&nbsp;<a href=\"\/products\/698779-dremel-variable-speed-rotary-tool-kit.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Dremel 3000 Rotary Tool<\/a>, slowly plunge a hole into the top of your ornaments. You can set the tool at full speed to drill the hole.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"step-3\">Step 3<\/h3>\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"300\" height=\"200\" src=\"https:\/\/www.farmandfleet.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/09\/Step-3-Dremel-300x200.jpg\" alt=\"Step 3 Wooden Ornaments\" class=\"wp-image-8239\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Use the Multi-Max MM30 and wood sanding sheets to sand away any rough edges. Use full speed&nbsp;and light pressure to achieve a finished look. You can leave the wood as-is for a more rustic look. You can also paint the ornaments to match your decor or even get the kids involved. They can paint their ornaments to create their own Christmas memories.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Once the paint is dry, loop twine through the drilled holes and you&#8217;re done!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>These wooden ornaments make the perfect decoration for any home during the holiday season.
