Cook the peach chunks over medium heat until they&#8217;re soft.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Process the Cooked Peaches: <\/strong>Run the cooked peaches through a <a href=\"\/food-presses-and-grain-mills\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">food mill<\/a> until the peach skins are all that remain in the mill. Throw away the peach skins.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Add Flavor: <\/strong>Throw the peaches back into the large pot. Add the sugar and cinnamon, which will add great flavor to the peaches.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Cook the Peach Butter: <\/strong>Cook the peaches, sugar, and cinnamon over medium heat until the mixture is thick. Stir the mixture frequently to keep it from sticking to the pot. Cook for 30 minutes to an hour, or until the peach butter holds together on a spoon.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Can the Peach Butter: <\/strong>Using a <a href=\"\/canning-funnels\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">canning funnel<\/a>, distribute the peach butter into hot, sterilized <a href=\"https:\/\/www.farmandfleet.com\/mason-jars\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">mason jars<\/a>. Leave 1\/4&#8243; of headspace. Screw on the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.farmandfleet.com\/canning-jar-bands-and-lids\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">canning lids and bands<\/a>, and process the jars for 10 minutes in a <a href=\"\/water-bath-canners\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">water bath canner<\/a>. Place them on <a href=\"\/cooling-racks\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">cooling racks<\/a>, and allow 24 hours for the lids to seal.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Decorate &amp; Display Your Jars: <\/strong>Decorate the jars with&nbsp;poly twine, wooden tags, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.farmandfleet.com\/canning-jar-labels\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">canning labels<\/a>, or whatever else you want. Jen decorated the jars with twine and labels, indicating the contents of the jar and the date of their wedding.
