Layer in the ingredients<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n<p>Layer the dry ingredients into the canning jar in any order you wish. You can use the ingredients we&#8217;ve provided, or use any cookie recipe of your choice! <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Using a <a href=\"\/canning-funnels\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">canning funnel<\/a> works great for most of the ingredients. Be sure to pack down all ingredients between each added layer, especially the brown sugar.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Fill the jar with enough&nbsp;ingredients so it is full to the top. If there is extra room, we recommend adding more mix-ins, such as chocolate chips or sprinkles.<\/p>\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"3-decorate-the-jar\"><strong>3. Decorate the jar<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n<p>Once you&#8217;ve filled the jar with all the cookie ingredients, decorate it however you want! One idea is to drape fabric over the lid. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Cut the fabric into a circle by using the top of a small bowl. Place the top of the lid onto the jar, drape the fabric over it and screw on the lid.<\/p>\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"4-add-the-recipe\"><strong>4. Add the recipe<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n<p>Print out a tag with the recipe for your cookies. Punch a hole in the corner of the recipe tag, and thread ribbon, poly twine, or yarn through it.
