Follow these tips and your party will be a hit!<\/p>\n<h3>Coordinate Your Tailgate<\/h3>\n<p>Decide who is cooking, driving and what everyone is bringing with them. Imagine ending up with five <a href=\"\/chips\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">bags of chips<\/a> and no hamburgers! Make sure everyone knows exactly what their role is. Planning the menu ahead of time with your fellow tailgaters is a must for an organized tailgate.<\/p>\n<h3>Prepare the Menu<\/h3>\n<p>Plan your menu and do prep work a day or two before the game. Keep the menu simple and pack prepared food in disposable containers. Dishes like <a href=\"https:\/\/www.farmandfleet.com\/food\/snacks\/snack-foods\/dips\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">dips<\/a>, pasta salads, hot wings, brats, hot dogs and burgers all carry well and are easy to prepare on a <a href=\"\/s\/?keyword=portable+grill\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">portable grill<\/a>. Wear a team jersey, sweatshirt, or outfit yourself from head to toe to show your team pride. Tailgaters are the best fans!<\/p>\n<h3>Allow Plenty of Time<\/h3>\n<p>Plan to arrive three to four hours early. You want plenty of time to eat, play and relax. Find a good spot to park. Not all parking is created equal! Park next to a grassy area or at the end of the parking row \u2013 this gives you more room for serious tailgating. Allow enough time to stay up to two hours after the game. You may stick around to celebrate if your team wins.<\/p>\n<h3>Have Fun Tailgating!<\/h3>\n<p>Set out and cook the food. Eat, and eat some more. Food should be ready 1-1\/2 hours before the game starts. That leaves plenty of time to eat, clean up and extinguish grills before going to the game. Cook extra food and share it with your tailgate neighbors. Swap recipes. Throw the football. Play some bean bag toss and have a good time.
