Winter is upon us, and Mid-westerner’s are experiencing the heavy snowfall that is inevitable during these months. When purchasing a shovel, you must keep in mind that there are three different styles: snow shovels, snow pushers, and combination snow shovels\/pushers. The main difference is that snow shovels have a flat, rectangular blade whereas snow pushers have a longer, narrow curved blade designed to push the snow. Snow shovels are best suited for small areas and walkways, and snow pushers are best suited for driveways. The combination snow shovels\/pushers are designed to both scoop and push snow.
